DANA AND FAITH - WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE SPICE?

We recorded this album in The Horizons Library of The Welling Townhouse in North Bennington, VT one saturday night in late April. We walked from the Bennington College campus to the house loaded down with many instruments, and made up 'Shanty For Sifting' along the way, the experience of which later inspired a traveling concert. We set up shop while others partied downstairs, with one break for tea and the consumption of peanut butter sandwiches at the end of the night. The photos on Dana and Faith's page are from that session.

Most songs were done in one take, with producer Andrew Barton twiddling the knobs, placing the microphones, and whispering "Rawwwk." We had some of the folks from downstairs come up and sing chorus bits. Throughout the next week or so he added some overdubs, recorded Amanda's lovely piano, and mixed the record. The result is sing along and repeat worthy dessertcore splendor. 

All songs were written and performed by Dana & Faith.
Andrew produced the album and added fantastic musical embellishments throughout.
Amanda played beautiful piano on Love In A Train.
Rebekah, Ollie, Emma, Jackson, and Trevor sang choruses on Tristan's Proclamation, No Business Mountain, and Love In A Train.
