PEGASISSY - ONLY THE SOUND BETWEEN US

Only The Sound Between Us was made in the summer of 2006, and is the product of a solid 2 years worth of Pegasissy recording experiments and shows. In the time between the end of high school and the beginning of college Pegasissy grew into a savvy live performer and introduced humor into his songs for the first time. These songs are one part melancholy, one part hilarious, one part earnest, and many parts just plain awesome.

Live favorites "Penis Breath," "You May Have A Shoe Instead Of A Head But At Least You Have A Soul," "Primary Colors," and "Peter Parker" may be familiar to many listeners, but are only now available in the context of this remarkably sharp and nuanced record.

The production (by Pegasissy himself) is "folk" meets "afro-beat" meets "campfire field recording" meets "indie pop."
