Nate ‘Skip’ Luce, Maia Friedman, and Will Stratton share song-writing duties in this supergroup, assisted by singer Michael Chinworth, drummer Roby Moulton, and bassist Ham Poe. Rooted in the American folk tradition, their music sometimes recalls blues or old cowboy songs

Russell Melia has a kind of in-your-face honesty, backed by the kind of omniscent perspective that we come to expect from great writers. The lyrics, at once brutal and beautiful, are delivered by the most deliciously pure high croon. Live, he is most often toting a mandolin.

MOUNTAIN MAN

Amelia Meath, Molly Sarle, and Alex Sauser-Monnig weave together their intricate three-part harmonies, and share song-writing duties on this blossoming project. The sound is infectious; familiar, but possessing a kind of electricity that makes listening incredibly exciting.

TREVOR WILSON

Songwriter Trevor Wilson has a shrill voice, almost a banshee squeal, as surreal as it is smooth. In the past, it has been layered over piano, and is currently sitting on top of the tense and fragile plucks of the ukulele. Trevor was the frontman of former group Tall Ships.

DANA AND FAITH

Faith Griffiths and Dana Wolfson sing with their hearts forward, generously gifting us in song; visceral as sea-shanties, cozy as an afternoon tea with your best friends. Their passion for food, particularly desserts, is pervasixve; it is a crucual part of the concert experience, and serves as the subject for many of their songs.

JACKSON EMMER

Jackson Emmer wears a bold pair of shoulders and passes sound through a throat that can be as coarse as tender. Coming from a long tradition of genuine and perhaps a little absurd american poet/string players, Jackson is ready to give America a spicier taste of itself.
